Jurassic Park
My all-time favorite movie. Very few things have captured my imagination and excitement after watching Jurassic Park for the first time.

I want this! - Imgur
I’ve wanted a pet dinosaur since I was a kid. Some part of me still believes they still exist somewhere, however few in numbers they may be.
Amazing Spider-Man #50 (Spider-Man no more!) and some of its homages.
I remember these! There were some kind folks that ran a booth that sold a bunch of these back at Anime Expo!
My brother asked me to buy the Thor card for him, so I did. When I came back to purchase the Spidey one I was actually dressed up as Spidey and Peter Parker at the same time, and before I could pull out enough coins to buy it, one of the girls at the booth got up and said, “No, please don’t pay for it! I like what you’re wearing!”
She bowed and presented me the only V-Day card I’ll never give away!

So I spent a good portion of my winter staying warm in the Philippines.
Resident Evil, known in Japan as Biohazard (バイオハザード Baiohazādo), is a media franchise owned by the video game company Capcom.
It seems like just yesterday that I was 7, when my dad came home on my birthday with a brand new copy of Resident Evil 3 and the strategy guide for it.
I couldn’t beat the game until my high school years. Nemesis scared the crap out of me.
I also remember when my dad got me the first Resident Evil when I turned 5. He picked it up at a pawn shop. I killed the zombie that bagged Kenneth and upon discovering what a zombie was, I threw the disc in the trash out of fear that the zombie(s) would find a way to get out of the game and come get me.
Not gonna lie, Starbucks over in the Philippines is a bit different than I’m used to.
1. The coffee there is around a dollar cheaper (USD vs. Pesos), but the tradeoff is smaller servings.
2. The locations are fairly larger, even when placed within larger public places such as malls.
3. Starbucks in the Philippines doesn’t close until some time after 1:00 AM, and the denizens and customers within are much louder than the ones over here in the US.
4. The food items are different and, quite frankly, much more awesome—-french toast, spam and black pepper with gouda sandwiches, and some sandwich with egg whites? Pretty damn good for pre-packed foods.
5. Having armed guards around are pretty cool too.
6. Did I also mention that they play oldies over the speakers? Plus points there.
